Teaching Assistant Required September 2017

Pay Scale H1 (£15,375 - £16,123) pro-rata.

Fixed Term Contract (September 2017 - July 2018)

26 hours per week, term time only + INSET Days as required

We are looking for an excellent practitioner who is ambitious and passionate about working with young people (across Years 5 to 8) to enable them to access the curriculum.  We wish to recruit a motivated and committed Teaching Assistant who has high expectations of children’s attainment and behaviour, taking initiative in class/during lunchtimes to support both pupils and the teacher. Strong communication skills with children and adults are essential.  GCSE Grades A-C in English and Maths and confident ICT skills are required. NVQ qualifications in teaching and learning are desirable.

Midday Supervisory Assistant Required 2017

Monday to Friday, 12.55pm to 2.10pm

Salary HB3 (£14,514) pro rata – term time only

We are looking for a caring and friendly Midday Supervisory Assistant to work as part of a team during the lunchtime break.

You will be working in the dining room preparing tables and helping to clear away at the end of the lunch period and supervising the playground/classrooms on a rota basis.
